Based on true stories, “The Emotion Code” suggests a self-help method to look forthe benefits from the psychological and emotional level and allows the reader to makedecisions about their own health.
This is not a book intended to diagnose mental disorders, therefore the author warns of “self-medication” that could result from the tests contained in the book. Nor is it a handbook that replaces a visit to a psychology professional if one is needed.
The book begins with an analysis of the generic concept of emotionand the damage that “trapped emotions” can cause, for they may come to sabotage a person’s future expectations. It also shows the correlation those unreleased emotions have with physical pain and how they may generate diseases.
The vast field of the mind confronts the subconsciousby speaking to the body. It is time to apply this new system of energy medicine. An interesting chapter is the one on fears and how they act as obstaclestowards progress.
The second part of the book discusses energy and introduces the new concepts of quantum physics which state that “thoughts are things,” allowing the reader to reflect on the intelligent Universe and the messages contained in the elements.
The third part examines the body, muscularinteractionand problem solving; as a threshold to discuss the release of trapped emotionsand the diagnosis of those emotions.
Beyond all the teaching contained in thiswork, also included is the value of hope and the strugglethat determines the longest duration of life;even when all that man has is taken away, he preserves the last of the human freedoms: to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances andhis own path.
