It is known that the body reacts to emotional stimuli in various ways and this is commonly called “psychosomatic effects.”  However, those that suffer these expressions of the body are not always prepared to accept that they transform their emotions into physical ailments, although traditional medicine accepts that at least 75% of diseases have this origin.

An extremely important concept that arises from this book maintains that the body itself cannot do anything. It cannot even make itself ill.  In fact, life is sustained by the spirit; the soul. Therefore, what happens to the body is nothing but a reflection of an emotional event that affects the spirit. Thus, illness comes from the soul.
