Thought is a rational activity that is seenas a power to purify and ennoble life, and it is a path that the student of Theosophy must apply for the evolution of their own character so that it serves to help others.
This book aims to be a means for thoseinitiated to understand their own intellectual nature so that it may lead to a purposeful cultivation of what is good in it and an eradication of what is evil. A noble life cannotbe experienced if it is not enlightened by intelligence that leads to the right path. Those who deviate from this path only do so by ignorance.
An interesting description of our complex human nature, where the living Self should separate from the garments with which he is clothed, beyond its uniqueness; because there is but One Self, where “just as rays flame forthfrom the sun, the Selves that are true Men are but rays of the Supreme Self and that each Self maywhisper, “I am He.”
