All endings are also beginnings; we just do not know it at the time. A tragedy takes the protagonist to Heaven, where he receives the greatest gift God can give: the understanding of life. There he will meet five people who will take him along paths of reasoning that include no random acts.
We are all connected; some die for others to live and no one is considered a stranger because strangers are like family that we have yet to meet.
No life is a waste. Each one takes its time and builds its own story, until death separates one from life and another story takes its place. Meanwhile, life goes on. It is another life, only with a change of scenery.
