Reincarnation is a subject of continual interest, and this book provides a historical perspective on the conceptions that have been made regarding the transmigration of the soul throughout the centuries, as well as in the present.
Although the author is honest, he is not ‘impartial’, as he is a firm supporter of reincarnation.
There are several books on reincarnation, from essays addressing a psychotherapeutic perspective to the phenomenon of hypnotic regression into previous lives, as well as discussions regarding thoughts on ancient cultures.
This book is an extensive and broad review on the belief of metempsychosis (the transmigration of souls), in both ancient and present cultures, and in the East and West. Coming from a non-skeptical, spiritual perspective as well as from a ‘scientific’ perspective (for the thoroughness in considering all the ‘options’ and viewpoints with which this concept has been addressed in different places throughout the history of mankind).
