Apparently, the present economic paradigm cannot solve the fundamental problems of humankind. Hunger, poverty, social disintegration and the lack of sustainability of economic activities leads us to deeply question its effectiveness.

In this context, what we call holistic economy provides us with a new paradigm to tackle the problems that are presently besetting humankind. Its predominantly systemic approach, centered on the human being, is fresh and applicable to the conditions humanity is facing in the XXIst Century.
